MICRODERMABRASION (DIAMOND PEEL) TREATMENT INFORMATION
The DLK Microdermabrasion Treatment or Diamond Peel uses an innovative device that enables the performance of laser cut, diamond resurfacing treatments. The polishing action of a laser cut diamond tip is combined with the cleaning action of a vacuum to smooth skin and enhance facial glow.

THE TREATMENT:
A DLK Microdermabrasion Treatment is performed by our Medical Aestheticians and/or Registered Nurse. The procedure is a superficial type of treatment using diamond tipped devices to remove the dead outer layer of the skin resulting in a smoother skin surface. It is performed in a well-controlled manner, minimizing skin trauma while altering the epidermis and invigorating cell renewal to create a healthy, balanced skin surface. A single treatment takes 30 minutes and patients can immediately return to regular activity. A series of treatments is recommended for best results. Microdermabrasion or Diamond Peels are often done as a series in combination with IPL treatments.
THE RESULTS:
Women and men of all different skin types and colour can be treated. You may appear slightly flushed following the procedure however this will dissipate within 1 to 2 hours. After a single treatment, your skin will feel smoother and have an overall fresh, healthy-looking glow. Continued treatment will minimize the appearance of a variety of skin care concerns including sun-damaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne and trauma scars, congested skin, large pores and blemishes.
